Who We Are
Working Dogs for Conservation (WD4C) selects, trains and deploys detection dog and handler teams of the highest caliber for conservation. Our dogs help save vulnerable species, end poaching and trafficking of wildlife products, and ensure biosecurity to protect species and habitats from invasive species, diseases and contaminants. We also provide a second chance to rescue or career change dogs whose exceedingly high energy limits their chances of adoption. We allow them to reach their full potential by giving them a meaningful job where they amplify conservation impacts, a loving home and the ability to prove themselves ambassadors for working dogs.
