If you are passionate about promoting volunteerism in Missoula, please join us for our next Steering Committee meeting on Friday, November 20th from 10-11 a.m. at the City Hall offices downtown (next to the Thomas Meagher Bar). We are hoping to change things up a little this time and start offering greater opportunity for you to learn about one another and the way you engage volunteers in the Missoula community.
Starting this month, we will be asking a local nonprofit to attend the Steering Committee meeting and present an overview of their organization and a description of how they engage volunteers at their organization. This month, we welcome Forward Montana to provide us with a more in-depth look at their community impact.
We would also like to hear about special holiday projects or celebrations you might be working on so that we can flag them on the site and help you promote your organization over the holiday season.
Lastly, we have a lot of exciting news to share with you about Volunteer Missoula! If you know of someone that would like to attend, please forward this email along; all are welcome to join.
