Join the Clark Fork Coalition on Thursday, March 3rd to learn how the proposed Montanore Mine would drain threatened bull trout streams for 1,300 years, dump mine waste in pristine forests, degrade surface and groundwater, and potentially wipe out struggling grizzly bear populations in the Cabinet Mountain Wilderness. This mine just received a partial green light from state and federal agencies, though it will leave irreparable damage and violate environmental laws. It’s not too late to protect a true Montana treasure. Hear from Bonnie Gestring, northwest program director for Earthworks, from 4-5 pm at the Clark Fork Coalition office, 140 South 4th St. West, Suite 1.
