Every three months, Recycling Works holds a glass drop-off event in the parking lot at Imagine Nation Brewing. These events allow the Missoula community, as well as those in surrounding areas, the opportunity to get their glass recycled, rather than land filled.
Recycling Works is the only organization of it's kind in Western Montana, collecting, storing, and processing 20 tons of glass every month to be sent to the recycling center.
Our next drop-off is on June 6th, and we are looking for volunteers to help with glass unloading and payment/contact collection. This event has been approved by the Missoula County Health Department, as long as proper social distancing, mask-wearing, and other safety procedures are in place. All of this info will be readily passed on to any volunteers.
Shifts will be two hours each: 8:30am- 10:30am, 10:30am-12:30pm, and 12:30pm-2:30pm. Please indicate which shift(s) you're interested in when signing up.
