New Year's Eve Peace Candle Lighter

This is a wonderful way to usher in the New Year in sharing wishes for peace! Come help the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center create a peace sign using luminaries in Caras Park as part of the downtown First Night festivities.   Volunteers work in 2-hour shifts, and are needed to watch over the peace sign, add new candles as needed, and invite passers-by and First Night celebrants to make their own luminaries to add to the peace sign. JRPC provides materials for the luminaries.
