Join Clark Fork Coalition's Volunteer River Corps as we venture into the Sapphire Range to collect snowpack data. This will be a full day adventure of snowshoeing, measuring and documenting snowpack levels, and learning about the importance of snow in Montana! All the data we collect will be submitted to the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to assist in predicting stream flows and water supply for the coming year.
No experience required, and snowshoes will be provided! Volunteers must bring their own lunch, water, and warm layers for the day.
