Help the Clark Fork Coalition and partners remove abandoned homeless encampments from the floodplain near Reserve Street.
This site is a popular place for encampments throughout the summer and fall, but when the cold weather arrives, many of these camps get left behind--in danger of washing downstream when spring highwater hits. This annual cleanup prevents several tons of trash from washing downstream. Come lend a hand to the cause!
We are joined by volunteers and staff from the Water Quality District and the Poverello Center
This cleanup is not suitable for kiddos, and we ask that volunteers RSVP. Lunch provided!
Two volunteer shifts: 9am-noon or noon-3pm. Come for one or stay all day.
