Volunteer: MUD Garden PartyThe Missoula Urban Demonstration Project (MUD) is gearing up for it's 35th Annual Garden Party! This event features local dinner, music, raffles, and so much more. It is a wonderful event that brings the community together to celebrate the achievements of our organization and the individuals and families inspired to live more sustainably. This Volunteer opportunity offers multiple positions for all commitment levels and abilities. We ask that you complete at least one shift listed below, but feel free to sign up for more than one shift! Set Up: 3-5:30pm. This shift will include things like setting up tables and chairs, preparing the bar and food service area, and more! During the event, we offer 2 different shifts: First shift is 5:30-7:30pm. Second shift taking is 7-9pm. These shifts include things like running the bar or merch table, picking up trash, and helping with other party fun! Clean Up: 9-10pm. This shift will include picking up trash, washing plates, taking down tables and chairs, etc. Please email Kathleen@mudproject.org to sign up or with any questions. Thank you! MUD is proud to offer a volunteer program with a great perk - a MUD Tool Library Membership! Volunteers can log 10 hours to receive this perk. You can speak with one of our staff members to get set up with this program! MUD empowers people to live more sustainably through tool sharing in our Tool Library and skill building in our Workshop Program. We believe all people are more capable than they know when given the tools and skills they need. MUD has been apart of the Missoula Community for over 40 years and continues to be a staple for our members and the community at large. Come on by the site sometime and see what MUD is all about!
