Missoula Community Foundation

The Missoula Community Foundation envisions a thriving Missoula where everyone has the opportunity to belong, succeed and contribute. We work to inspire and facilitate generosity, strengthen nonprofits, and support collaborative action for community good.

As a philanthropic hub for our Missoula, we build sustainable assets for our community by:
• Encouraging long-term, local philanthropy
• Assessing and responding to community needs
• Establishing giving pathways for all Missoulians
• Providing planned giving expertise to donors and nonprofits

We aim to help all Missoulians give back to the community -- through donor education, fund management, planned giving support, grant making and connecting people and families to the causes they care about. Our programs and outreach encourage a spirit of giving that engages, connects, and sustains us.

One of our core programs is Missoula Gives! This is our community giving day that happens the first weekend in May and engages thousands of people every year. Missoula Gives presents a unique opportunity for volunteers to come together and help raise money and awareness for the organizations that help shape and sustain our community. Join us as a Missoula Gives volunteer -- it's a lot of fun!
