Join SBFC and the US Forest Service to celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping steward the Roaring Lion Creek Trail #124 in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands.
This will be the sixth year that SBFC volunteers have helped to repair the trail after the destructive fire that burned here in 2016. We will be clearing fallen trees, brushing, cleaning drains, and redefining the trail tread. For more information about the hike, visit AllTrails. Your volunteer contributions will help ensure our public lands remain accessible and beautiful places for everyone to enjoy.
SBFC will provide lunch, snacks, and cold beverages.
