Prune the Moon

Saturday, March 10

9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Moon-Randolph Homestead

1515 Spurlock Road, Missoula, Montana

Join us for a day of tree pruning in the Moon-Randolph Homestead’s historic apple orchard. Learn the art of tree pruning with skilled arborists, Mark Van Der Meer of Watershed Consulting and Mike Billingsley of Western Cider. This is a great workshop for those wanting to learn how to care for older apple trees, and a great way to spend a spring day at a historic homestead in Missoula. Experienced pruners are also encouraged to attend and help us maintain the health and vigor of these 125-year-old trees. For those with pruning equipment, bring handsaws, pole saws, loppers, hand shears, gloves, and orchard ladders, etc. We will have plenty of tools for the empty-handed.

Coffee, lunch, and cider provided!

No dogs or unattended children.
