Our annual appearance at Summer MADE Fair in Missoula! The Clay Studio of Missoula sets up the outreach booth to host one of our "raw" clay activities. This time around it will be our Native Flower Seed Bombs. This easy activity collides ceramics and science for a boom of boosting healthy, native species in Montana. This easy  activity requires mixing clay and a fertilizer to create a "matrix" to protect wildflower seeds, which are then mixed in before everything is split down into dime sized balls or "bombs" that can be tossed long distance to spread native flower species around your home. No training needed; when you arrive on shift you'll pick up the activity after practicing once or twice with the Outreach Coordinator or Intern.

We also ask volunteers to be kind and courteous to visitors, and encourage them to take leaflets about the Clay Studio's services and programs!

Booth Location: under the band shell in Caras Park, between the large canopy and the Beartracks bridge
