Come help with the most fun fundraiser for peace of the year! The Jeannette Rankn's 2015 annual Peace Party will be Sunday, October 11, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in Caras Park. The theme for this year's party is "Peace Like a River." We will have fabulous food from Homestead Organics, a live auction, a silent action, a raffle, music, dancing, beer and wine, etc. We involve from 50-70 volunteers every year in the logistics of hosting this event, a fundraiser for peace! We need help with set-up and take down of tables, chairs and decorations, set-up of Silent Auction, serving food and beverages, data entry/checkout and clean-up. Volunteers get a reduction of 2/3 in the ticket price, from $30 to $10.
