Every three months, Recycling Works holds a glass drop-off event in the parking lot of Imagine Nation Brewing. These quarterly events allow the Missoula community, as well as those in surrounding areas, the opportunity to recycle their glass rather than having it end up in the dump.
Recycling Works is the only organization of its kind in Western Montana -- collecting, storing, and processing 20 tons of glass every month, which is then sent to a glass recycling facility.
Our next drop-off event is on Sunday, September 5th from 9am-2pm, and we are looking for volunteers to help with glass unloading and payment/contact collection.
Shifts will be two hours each: 8:30am-10:30am, 10:15am-12:15pm, and 12pm-2:30pm. Please indicate which shift(s) you're interested in when signing up. UPDATE: The first two shifts are pretty much full. We need volunteers for the 12pm-2:30pm shift!
