Please join Conservation Lands staff on National Public Lands Day, September 28th, 2024, to help protect wildlife on Mount Jumbo! We will be working on a section of fence that is in disrepair, replacing it with a wildlife friendly fence. No experience is necessary. This fence plays an important role marking the boundary between the North and South zones of Mount Jumbo and protecting wintering elk during seasonal closures. We will meet at the Lincoln Hills Trailhead at 9am and work until approximately 2pm. We will have all the tools required and gloves to borrow unless you prefer to bring your own pair. Volunteers will also be provided a free lunch! Please wear work clothes, closed toe/sturdy footwear and bring a water bottle.
